Class descriptions

  • Vinyasa is a gradual and dynamic progression or a step-by-step approach that systematically and appropriately takes a student from one point and safely lands them at the next point, linking breath to movement. This class builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and concentration.

  • In this all levels class students focus on alignment, mindfulness, breathing and technique. Movements are slow and deliberate with a focus on breath. Poses are held for longer periods of time that create strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing on relaxation and mindfulness. This is a perfect class for any level of student, including beginners.

  • Nourish your body and mind with restorative movement and breath-work in this 75-minute class. Yin is a slow paced yoga featuring a series of long passive held poses. Perfect for beginners, experienced practitioners and sore bodies alike, this practice builds strength, increases flexibility, instills a deep sense of relaxation and encourages a free flow of energy throughout the body.

  • This gentle and explorative Hatha class will leave you feeling more spacious in your body, connected and relaxed. Beginners, and those returning to their practice are welcome, no prior yoga experience is needed. Props will be provided and used along with plenty of modifications to make poses more accessible and more challenging as needed. With a focus on individual body awareness, you will be safely guided through a series of movements, stretches and poses.n text goes here

  • A combination of stretching, relaxation, strenuous breathing and meditation, this class combines many disciplines into a fully rounded 'breath workout'. It begins with a lively Japanese form of yoga followed by relaxing breathing techniques working up to a Japanese technique featuring a quick and intense round of sharp exhalations, this practice has been called a 'rocket ship to samadhi.’ The class culminates with natural breathing, meditation and a final round of relaxing breath techniques to start your day relaxed and energized! Suitable for anyone who can breath!

  • Step up to your potential in this Step Aerobics class -suitable for all fitness levels, and all ages. This 60-minute class will strengthen and tone muscles, build endurance, increase bone density and so much more. Modifications are offered to suit your level and intensity. Enjoy a juicy cool-down stretch session at the end of every class.

  • This muscle building class combines yoga, calisthenics, pilates, and weight training. This class uses a combination of concentric, eccentric, and isometric movements to help build strength and endurance using body weight, handheld weights and resistance bands. The end of each class focuses on deep stretching of all the muscle groups.

    Hair Ceremony serves to ground, balance, destress and foster the joy of self-definition. Sculptural in approach, and performed on clean, damp or dry hair, for all hair types and textures. This work began in art galleries and nature to celebrate the full and vibrant range of human personal expression through hair.

    You may want to share your process, or wish for a more meditative experience during your ceremony. The amount of conversation and collaboration is up to you.

    The ceremony includes: a thorough consultation; intention-setting; hair sculpture; and energy work with Acutonics tuning forks and crystals.

  • This work is performed on acupressure points and meridians on and off body using Acutonics tuning forks, which are tuned to planetary frequencies. The work has been described as deeply restorative, relaxing, transporting and like receiving a sonic massage. Working synergistically with medicinal song, the sound bath has the effect of providing release and rebalancing.
